Olympos and Aspendos travel photos

Olympos is one of the most important cities in Lycian history. It is an intriguing, pure place with the air scented by pine forests and lavender. The landscape portrays dramatic scenes of thickly forested mountains, deep cliffs and vast bays with long beaches. There is a famous eternal fire spat out by the mythical monster Chimera. Aspendos, located beside the river Eurymedon (Köprüçay), is renowned throughout the world for its magnificent ancient amphitheatre.
