Formentor peninsula travel photos

Peninsula de Formentor (Cap de Formentor) - the final jutting spur of the Serra de Tramuntana with stunning views, sandy beaches and weird rock formations. Its mountains rise to over 400 m (1,300 ft). The drive from Port de Pollença has dramatic scenery and is famously scary for its steep bends. Take your time exploring the viewpoint ("Mirador de Mal Pas") which offers fantastic views on a convenient platform :). At the end of the road there is a Cap de Formentor lighthouse where you can see all the way to Menorca on a good day.
