Colonia de Sant Pere (or Colonia San Pedro) is a small picturesque village located on the the eastern end of the Bay of Alcudia and it is an ideal place for a relaxing break. This unspoilt fishing village is also a golf-lovers paradise. There are no less than five top-quality courses within a 20 minutes drive. The main focal point is the yachting harbour, with a variety of bars and restaurants dotted around it. The beach at Colonia de Sant Pere is fairly small, but not overly crowded, even during busy periods. Colonia de Sant Pere is well located, just a 15 minute drive from the busier coastal resort of Can Picafort – which has a full range of amenities and a busier nightlife. 15 minutes in the opposite direction is Arta – a historic town that is a great place for shopping. Arenal de sa Canova is an unspoilt beach which is almost 2,000m long and 100m wide, with a unique range of dunes behind, of which a large part is covered by a pine wood.
