Japan - volcanic Mt. Aso 10

Mt.Aso is located in central Kyushu. This still active volcanic mountain with a huge steaming thermal caldera, the largest in the world. You can drive right up to the crater, where it is well set up for tourists with pathways wending their way through the volcanic lava fields.
