Gyeryongsan Mountain and Mu Sang Sa temple photos

Mu Sang Sa - Kye Ryong San International Zen Center (Temple) is one of the major Buddhist temples in South Korea. It affiliates with the Kwan Um School of Zen. Kwan Seum literally means "perceive world sound," which is also translated as "one who hears the cries of suffering." It means our great love and compassion mind. The temple holds various silent retreats throughout the year. Gyeryong-san (Kyeryong Sahn) National Park is so named because its shape resembles the look of a hen and a dragon (kye means hen, ryong means dragon). It has been traditionally regarded as a sacred mountain, with the most qi of any in South Korea. The park has several short but good hiking trails, many beautiful waterfalls, rocky outcroppings, ancient pagodas, and relics dating from the Paekche era.
