Via ferrata Giovanni Lipella photos

Via Ferrata Giovanni Lipella to Tofana de Roses is a majestic route containing everything: long tunnels, ferrata climbing of difficulty A/B/C, few waterfalls, large snow fields and fantastic views. You will go around the whole mountain and you can also reach the top. The ferrata is located 5 km west to Cortina d’Ampezzo. It starts at Rif A. Dibona, goes along the path no. 404 to west to the start of the ferrata. Then the ferrata goes north to the junction Tre Dita. You can chose there to go directly to Rif Giussani or to go to the top of Tofana di Rozes. From the summit you need to return about 600m the same way as was the ascent and then turn right (to north-east) to Rif. Giussani. You finish the trip by footpath no. 403 which leads back to Rif Dibona. The whole trip takes 7.5-8 hour of walking time, it is about 1500 meters up and down and there is one chalet along the way.
